The quarantine restrictions may mean the theater is empty, however, the stage is not dark. The show can go on - with your help.

Just before the COVID-19 quarantine mandates, Tacoma Arts Live was about to open the local theater production of TRIBES. This beautiful and poignant play about relationships and communication incorporates hearing and deaf actors, spoken word and sign. Regardless of language, the performance will universally speaks to all of us on what it means to be understood, to be seen, and to be honored.

The Governor's new rules now allow the TRIBES team to reconvene for final rehearsals and to film a version of this great play for streaming. The actors, director, and production team have stayed local to make this happen - including our lead actress from Austin, Texas. Please contribute to help us cover the remaining expenses to complete and stream this project to our community.
