Script Study Session 2: Six Degrees of Separation
Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award nominated play Six Degrees of Separation explores the existential premise that everyone in the world is connected to everyone else in the world by a chain of no more than six people. Join us for Script Study to learn about compelling theatrical storytelling and how great plays are constructed. In our second meeting, we’ll take a “virtual field trip” to view an online staged reading of Six Degrees of Separation, and in our third and final meeting we dig into this critically acclaimed play with reflective discussion and analysis facilitated by Dr. Marilyn Bennett, Founder and Artistic Director of Tacoma’s Toy Boat Theatre.Instructors: David Fischer, Tacoma Arts Live Executive Director, and Marilyn Bennett, Founder and Artistic Director of Tacoma’s Toy Boat Theatre
Schedule: Tuesdays, February 23 – March 9; 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
