Symphony Tacoma presents

Mini Maestros:
Wacky, Wild World of Percussion

Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.
Schneebeck Hall - University of Puget Sound
Tickets: $10 Adults, $7 Children
Everyone loves percussion — especially kids! The Symphony percussion section will share music from Pink Panther, the story of “Mr. Brown Can Moo,” and other works.
Mini Maestros Concerts
An informal concert offering specially created for children ages 2-8 and their grown ups. Three programs for smaller ensembles begin the series — providing for an interactive, close encounter with the musicians. Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, with the full orchestra, is the culminating concert for the series. With curriculum prepared by Early Childhood Learning experts, the 45 minute informances feature elements to get the children engaged both physically and mentally. An instrument petting zoo starts one hour before each concert, except Peter and the Wolf.
